The traditional British pub is an institution. Whether you want to get stuck into your latest book whilst relaxing with a pint, meeting with friends to catch up and chew the fat, looking to discover the latest great local beer, gathering family for a bite to eat or celebrating it being Friday with your colleagues over a lunch time pint, we at The Prince of Wales prides ourselves on being a Great British Pub.
We are a small but popular free house in the heart of Farnborough, famed for our extensive range of real ales and our newly added craft beer line. We serve home-cooked food at lunch daily and on selected evenings throughout the week. Monthly, we host live music and quiz nights and run several large events, such as our annual October beer festival, throughout the year. We love to bring people together.
Located a few minutes walk (literally, it’s about 90 seconds from platform to pint!) from Farnborough North station, we have a lovely group of regulars who we are proud to say visit us often but are always happy to welcome new faces so if you’re in the area why not pop along, grab a drink and say hello to pub manager Matt and the team?
“We first pulled the towels off the pumps for the first time more than 25 years ago and the pub has been a Free House ever since.
We’re passionate about the beer we serve and our food that is freshly cooked to order. Matt and the team are dedicated to making your visit a thoroughly enjoyable one.”
